Company History

Atlas Australia is a wholly owned subsidiary of the very large Hebei TIIEC Machinery Company (TIIEC), founded in 1998 and based in Shijiazhuang, China. TIIEC is a global leader in slurry pump manufacturing and servicing.

TIIEC facilities supporting Atlas Australia include several large manufacturing plants in China, a research and development function, very strong safety protocols, machining facilities, casting and fabrication, as well as comprehensive quality control processes.

Looking after our Australian operations is Stephen Latimer whose background as a director is in the manufacture and sourcing of high quality parts and components within South East Asia and supply to Europe, America and Australia.

He is focused on safety, quality and delivery performance for our customers. He has detailed knowledge of the cost drivers critical to our customers’ ongoing success.

Trevor Cameron

Director

Trevor Cameron holds a Master’s Degree in Business and a second Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management. He has a strong supply chain background, working in CBH Group, as well as some of Australia’s largest mining companies and mining equipment manufacturers.

Trevor is highly passionate about delivering a customer experience that never lets you down. This means high quality, high performance and productivity, always delivered on time.

Trevor has lived in Western Australia since 2009 and is a strong AFL and rugby union supporter.

Ross Engel

Director

Ross Engel is a procurement and supply chain expert with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, majoring in Strategic Procurement and an undergraduate degree in Law. Additionally, Ross owns and is a Director of the Naked Apple Cider House restaurant in the Perth Hills. Ross is also a Director and part owner of remote mobile camp provider Site Projects Group Pty Ltd.

Ross always focuses on delivering what the customer needs, on time or exactly as the customer realises they need it. He is both strategic and always ready to get his hands on mine site performance issues, whether operational, maintenance or quality control.

Dianna Gu

Global Sales Manager

Dianna graduated with a major in international trade, is proficient in international business communication and negotiation, and has cross-cultural communication skills.

She has 25 years of experience in the field of import and export trade, is familiar with international trade rules and practices, and has successfully executed many cross-border project contracts.

Dianna serves as the company’s internationally renowned large mining account manager, she has established long-term and stable cooperative relationships with these companies and successfully executed contracts for multiple mining projects.

Dianna has excellent cross-cultural communication skills and is able to establish and maintain good relationships with customers from different countries.

As an experienced international business expert, Dianna has won wide acclaim for the company in overseas markets with her outstanding leadership and keen market insights.

Daniel Harris

Sales Engineer

Daniel is an experienced professional with extensive experience working in and around the renewables and environmental industries.

Throughout his career, Daniel has held positions working for organisations including Future Grid Electrical Pty Ltd, Lovegrove Electrical and Fuel Systems, Clear Energy & SunWise Energy, among others.

This addition to the Atlas team demonstrates our unwavering commitment to supporting our clients through a capable team of professionals with their boots on the ground here in Western Australia.
