Mechanical Spare Parts
The bearing assembly is the primary mechanical service item outside the wet end. We stock bearing housings and replacement bearing sets for the full INDUX range in grease and oil lubrication configurations. Bearing housing seal condition and lubrication intervals directly determine how often the back end needs attention.
Replacement shafts for INDUX pump frames, precision-machined to OEM tolerances. A shaft should be measured for runout and wear at each major rebuild — a worn shaft accelerates gland and bearing failure regardless of how good the new seal components are.
Standard carbon steel shaft sleeves for general service. Ceramic-coated and tungsten-carbide-coated options for corrosive or aggressive slurry service where sleeve life is a known issue.
Structural components for pump frame rebuild and base replacement.
Seal and Gland Components
Packed gland assemblies for standard slurry pump sealing. A leaking gland should be repacked before slurry contamination reaches the bearing housing — bearing failure caused by slurry ingress is the most common avoidable cause of unplanned downtime in slurry pump circuits.
Distributes flush water inside the gland assembly. Correct lantern ring position is essential for effective gland sealing — a mispositioned lantern ring reduces flush water pressure at the packing and accelerates wear.
For applications where packed gland sealing is not suitable: high-pressure circuits, clean-seal environments, or slurry service where gland water dilution of the product is not acceptable.
Secondary centrifugal shaft seal — reduces dynamic pressure at the gland face and extends packing life. Hard metal and rubber options available.
Crusher and Processing Wear Components
In addition to pump spare parts, Atlas stocks wear components for crushing and mineral processing circuits commonly found alongside slurry pump installations:
- Cone crusher liners and mantles
- Crusher spare parts
- Chute liners — hard metal and rubber
- Cyclone components: vortex finders, spigots, liners
- Screens and screen media
How to Order Parts
When ordering spare parts, have the following ready:
- Pump model and size (e.g. 6/4 WX, 8/6 WSA)
- Part name and material (e.g. impeller, high-chrome)
- Serial number if available — confirms the exact frame variant
For non-INDUX pumps, send the nameplate data and we will advise on parts compatibility and lead time. Most common OEM-equivalent parts can be sourced on request.
Consignment and Rotables Programs
For major mining operations where slurry pump downtime risk is significant, Atlas can establish a dedicated consignment stock of critical spare parts near your site. We can also manage a rotables program — maintaining a set of exchange assemblies that are rebuilt at our Henderson workshop and returned to a near-site location on a scheduled basis. Contact our team to discuss a parts management program suited to your maintenance schedule and pump inventory.
